General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

Völker Rentals

1. Scope of application

These General Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings of holiday accommodation made via the Völker Rentals website as well as to direct bookings with the host. By making a booking, the guest accepts these terms and conditions.

2. Booking and conclusion of contract

A booking becomes binding as soon as it has been confirmed by the guest and accepted by the host. The rental agreement is concluded between the guest and Völker Rentals.

3. Prices

All prices quoted are in Swiss francs (CHF), unless otherwise stated. The total price includes all costs for the stay. This includes in particular: use of the accommodation, furniture and fittings, bed linen and towels, visitor’s tax. Optional additional services, such as special arrangements or extra offers, are only charged if expressly booked by the guest and will be clearly indicated in advance.

4. Payment

Payment shall be made in accordance with the conditions stated during the booking process. Depending on the booking, either a deposit or full advance payment may be required. If payment is not made on time, the booking may be cancelled.

5. Arrival and departure

Check-in is possible from 3:00 pm. Check-out must take place by 10:00 am on the day of departure. Individual times may be possible by prior arrangement.

6. Use of the accommodation

The accommodation may only be used by the number of persons stated in the booking. Parties, events, or any commercial use are not permitted. The guest undertakes to treat the accommodation with care.

7. Damages

The guest is liable for any damage arising during the stay that is caused by the guest or their fellow travellers. Any damage or defects must be reported to the host immediately.

8. Pets

Pets are generally not allowed. In selected accommodations, such as in Grächen, dogs may be permitted upon prior request. The relevant accommodation description shall apply in each case.

9. Withdrawal / cancellation

The cancellation conditions stated at the time of booking shall apply. For direct bookings via the website, these will be clearly shown during the booking process.

10. Liability

The host shall not be liable for: loss or theft of personal belongings, accidents inside or outside the accommodation, unless caused by gross negligence.

11. Force majeure

In the event of force majeure, such as natural disasters or official measures, the contract may be amended or terminated without any claims for damages.

12. Data protection

Personal data will be used solely for processing the booking and for communication with the guest, and will not be passed on to third parties unless this is required by law.

13. Place of jurisdiction

Swiss law shall apply. The place of jurisdiction is the registered office of the landlord.
